About the Professor

Academic Background and Professional Expertise

Shalom, my name is Ariel. I am a Hebrew language expert with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and curriculum development. I hold advanced academic degrees in Hebrew and Jewish Studies, along with extensive training in linguistics, cultural history, and Hebrew pedagogy. My background brings together rich academic education, many years of teaching experience, and ongoing research and writing in the fields of Hebrew language and Jewish culture.

International Teaching Experience

I work with learners from around the world — adults and children, beginners to advanced students, in both private and public educational settings. My experience spans all forms of Hebrew learning, including Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, and cultural-linguistic studies, supporting students of all ages and backgrounds.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching approach combines academic precision with practical clarity. I believe that Hebrew becomes accessible when grammar, vocabulary, and culture are taught together — in a structured, respectful, and engaging way. Every lesson is designed to be clear, logical, and immediately useful.

Educational Mission

My goal is simple: to help you understand Hebrew with confidence, depth, and joy — wherever you are in the world. If you would like to explore how I teach and what you can learn here, you are welcome to continue to the Hebrew Premium learning library.

"The video library is what made everything finally make sense. I could pause, rewind, and rewatch the tricky parts until it clicked. No other Hebrew program gave me that level of clarity."
Sarah M.
Sarah M. Boston, USA
"I grew up hearing Hebrew but never really learned it properly. The video lessons helped me finally fill in the gaps at my own pace. The explanations are so clear that I stopped feeling embarrassed about my Hebrew."
Daniel K.
Daniel K.London, UK
"The videos made Hebrew feel simple. I love that each lesson is short and focused - I can watch one during a break and actually learn something meaningful."
Robyn N.
Robyn N.Johannesburg, South Africa
"Being able to revisit the videos whenever I want changed everything. I finally understand the structure of Hebrew, and I can follow prayers in synagogue with confidence."
Michael R.
Michael R.Toronto, Canada
"The video library is incredibly rich. I didn’t expect to enjoy grammar, but the way it’s explained visually made it feel natural. I learn more in 10 minutes here than in an hour elsewhere."
Aisha O.
Aisha O.Lagos, Nigeria
"I’m a visual learner, so the videos were perfect for me. Seeing the words, hearing them, and watching them broken down step by step helped me remember everything much faster."
Emily S.
Emily S.New York, USA
"I tried textbooks and apps, but nothing compares to the video lessons. They feel like a real teacher guiding you, not just content thrown at you. It’s the first time Hebrew feels doable."
Jacob L.
Jacob L.Manchester, UK
"The cultural explanations in the videos helped me understand not just the language, but the context behind it. It feels like learning Hebrew with someone who really knows how to teach."
Chen W.
Chen W.Singapore
"I joined for Biblical Hebrew, but the modern Hebrew videos surprised me. They’re so clear and well structured that I ended up watching more than I planned. It’s addictive in the best way."
David P.
David P.Los Angeles, USA
"I was nervous to start, but the videos made everything feel approachable. I love that I can learn whenever I want - even late at night - and still feel like someone is guiding me."
Rachel G.
Rachel G.Melbourne, Australia
