Demonstrative pronouns are words like “this” and “these.” In Hebrew, they are used to point to specific nouns and must agree in gender and number with the noun they refer to.
Singular Forms

Notes
- זה and זאת are also used to say “this is…” in simple identification sentences.
- אלה is used for both masculine and feminine plural nouns.
- These forms are common in both spoken and written Hebrew.
