Hebrew for Christians

If you think that Hebrew is a language only for Israelis or Jews, you couldn’t be more mistaken. What most people don’t know or fail to realize is that the Bible is actually a vast collection of Biblical Hebrew books written over a period of more than 1,500 years.

At Hebrewversity.com, we teach Biblical Hebrew for Christians who would like to get a deeper understanding of their faith. The fact that there exist books of poetry and prose, history and philosophy as well as wisdom and prayer in the Bible is testament to the richness and depth of Biblical Hebrew as a language.

The reason why there are so many English versions of the Bible today is because the original version was in Biblical Hebrew. And that language was – and is – such a deep and graphic language, with a worldview that we cannot understand today, that a direct translation of it into English is just not possible.

Imagine being able to understand the Bible as it was written thousands of years ago. Understanding the nuances of a rich and deeply spiritual language that could reshape your world-view. Biblical Hebrew for Christians who want to really understand the Word.

Biblical Hebrew has a much, much smaller vocabulary than Modern English – and each word has many layers of meanings. The message of the Bible gets lost in translation because of this. Reading Biblical Hebrew for Christians is like opening up to a whole new world and truly understanding your faith as it was meant to be understood.

If you would like to study Biblical Hebrew to deepen your understanding of the Bible, you can fill up our Contact Form and our Program Director, Ariel will personally get in touch with you to help chart out a learning path for you.
