“Binyan Pi’el” Future Tense

Pi’el is an expressive and active binyan. In the future tense, it continues to convey intensive, repetitive, or deliberate actions. These verbs often describe purposeful behavior or strong emphasis, such as “he will speak,” “she will request,” or “they will organize.”

Structure of Pi’el in Future Tense

  • Prefixes: א / ת / י / נ (depending on person)
  • Vowel Pattern: a–a-e or i–a-e depending on form (as in אֲדַבֵּר – “I will speak”)
  • Base Form: יְדַבֵּר – masculine singular, 3rd person
