.בַּשָּׁבוּעַ שֶׁעָבָר טִיַּילְתִּי בְּאֵזוֹר הַגָּלִיל. קַמְתִּי בַּבּוֹקֵר, הִתְקַלַּחְתִּי וְנָסַעְתִּי לִצְפַת

.Last week I hiked in the Galilee region. I got up in the morning, took a shower and drove to Safed 

אַחֲרֵי שֶׁהִגַּעְתִּי לִצְפַת, אָכַלְתִּי אֲרוּחַת צָהֳרַיִים וְאָז טִיפַּסְתִּי עַל הַר מֶירוֹן. שָׁם  רָאִיתִי אֵת הַנּוֹף הַמַּדְהִים שֶׁל הַגָּלִיל

After I arrived in Safed, I ate lunch and then climbed Mount Meron. There I saw the amazing view of the Galilee.

?יָדַעְתָּ שֶׁהַר מֶירוֹן הוּא הַהַר הֲכִי גָּבוֹהַּ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל? אַתָּה מַכִּיר עוֹד הָרִים בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל

Did you know that Mount Meron is the highest mountain in Israel? Do you know more mountains in Israel?

Yes, I know Mt. ___

.אַחֲרֵי שֶׁטִּיפַּסְתִּי עַל הַהַר, הָלַכְתִּי לָמַעְיָין וְשָׂחִיתִי שָׁם בְּמֶשֶׁךְ כַּמָּה שָׁעוֹת

After I climbed the mountain, I went to the spring and swam there for a few hours.

.בָּעֶרֶב, חָזַרְתִּי לִצְפַת וְאָכַלְתִּי אֲרוּחַת עֶרֶב. זֶה הָיָה טִיּוּל מַמָּשׁ כְּיפִי

In the evening, I returned to Safed and ate dinner. It was a really fun trip.

כְּשֶׁהִגַּעְתִּי הַבַּיְתָה, הִתְקַשֵּׁר אֵלַי חָבֵר שֶׁלִּי וְשָׁאַל אוֹתִי אִם אֲנִי רוֹצֶה לִנְסוֹעַ לְטִיּוּל בַּגָּלִיל

When I got home, a friend of mine called me and asked me if I want to go on a trip in the Galilee…

?אַתָּה אוֹהֵב לְטַיֵּיל? אֵיפֹה טִיַּילְתָּ לָאַחֲרוֹנָה

.לִפְנֵי כַּמָּה חֳודָשִׁים, נָסַעְתִּי לְטִיּוּל בַּנֶּגֶב עִם חֲבֵרִים שֶׁלִּי

A few months ago, I went on a trip to the Negev with my friends.

חָבֵר שֶׁלִּי נָהַג בַּמְּכוֹנִית בְּמֶשֶׁךְ שָׁעוֹת בִּגְלַל שֶׁהַנֶּגֶב מִדְבָּר גָּדוֹל. בַּסּוֹף, הִגַּעְנוּ לְמִצְפֶּה רָמּוֹן

My friend drove the car for hours because the Negev is a big desert. In the end, we reached Mitzpe Ramon.

Were you there? Where else have you been in Israel?

בַּמִּדְבָּר נוֹרָא חָם. חֲבֵרִים שֶׁלִּי אָמְרוּ שֶׁצָּרִיךְ לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם כָּל הַזְּמַן. אָז שָׁתִינוּ הַרְבֵּה מַיִם וְגַם עָצַרְנוּ לֶאֱכוֹל בַּדֶּרֶךְ

In the desert is terribly hot. My friends said you have to drink water all the time. So we drank a lot of water and also (‘we’) stopped to eat on the way.

.בְּאֶמְצַע הַטִּיּוּל הִפְסַקְנוּ הַכֹּל וְהֵכַנּוּ קָפֶה עַל גַּז. זֶה הָיָה מַמָּשׁ נֶחְמָד

In the middle of the trip we stopped everything and made coffee on gas. It was really nice.

!נִשְׁאַרְנוּ בַּשֶּׁטַח וְיָשַׁנּוּ בְּתוֹךְ אוֹהֶל – עָשִׂינוּ קֶמְפִּינְג אֲמִתִּי

 We stayed in the field (‘outdoors’)  and slept inside a tent – we did some real camping!

?מָה אִתְּךָ? אַתָּה אוֹהֵב לַעֲשׂוֹת קֶמְפִּינְג? מָתַי יָשַׁנְתָּ בַּחוּץ בַּפַּעַם הָאַחֲרוֹנָה

What about you? Do you like camping? When was the last time you slept outside?

…I did camping  

.סִיַּימְנוּ אֵת הַטִּיּוּל וְחָזַרְנוּ הַבַּיְתָה. בַּדֶּרֶךְ דִּיבַּרְנוּ עַל הַרְבֵּה דְּבָרִים

We finished the trip and returned home. On the way we talked about a lot of things.

?חֲבֵרִים שֶׁלִּי אָמְרוּ שֶׁאֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל מַמָּשׁ קְטַנָּה וְאוּלַי הִגִּיעַ הַזְּמַן לִנְסוֹעַ לְטַיֵּיל בִּמְקוֹמוֹת אֲחֵרִים

My friends said that the Land of Israel is really small and maybe it’s time to travel elsewhere (Lit. ‘in other places’)?
